As a Legal Counsel, you will join our growing legal team and report directly to the Director of Legal. In this role, you will be a key partner to business, product, marketing, finance and HR team, providing practical, business-oriented legal advice across a wide range of matters.
Responsibilities
- Commercial : Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including SaaS agreements, NDAs, vendor contracts, and Data Processing Agreements (DPAs)
- Compliance: Provide day-to-day legal support on product-related matters and ensure compliance overview in a wide range of matters.
- Privacy Compliance: Assessing and implementing relevant privacy requirements across the departments and building organized processes, including implementation of data protection frameworks to ensure the maintenance of such compliance.
- Corporate & Financing Strategy: Assisting the legal team in equity financing rounds (from structuring and due diligence to closing), managing the cap table, and assisting the monitoring of the company’s equity incentive plans.
- Governance & Entity Management: Assisting on corporate governance (Board and shareholder matters, resolutions, and compliance) and overseeing the legal maintenance of global subsidiaries and inter-company frameworks.
- Process implementations: Help design, implement, and improve legal processes, templates, and workflows to support scalability and efficiency.
- 3+ years of experience as a Legal Counsel in a leading law firm in the corporate/commercial department and/or in-house in a technology company
- License to practice law in Israel
- English and Hebrew - Native-level
- Strong commercial mindset, with the ability to balance legal risk with business objectives and support deal execution and strong experience and skills in agreement drafting and managing commercial negotiations end-to-end.
- Proven ability to build or improve legal processes and support operational scale.
- Experience advising on data privacy matters, including GDPR, CCPA, and similar frameworks
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Proactive, takes initiative, and comfortable owning projects end-to-end
- Business-oriented mindset with creative problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of employment law- Strong Advantage
- Interest or experience in AI-related legal considerations- Strong Advantage.
